Conditions of participation for the test phase with ShareYourSpace

 

You are only admitted to the test phase once you have received a confirmation of participation from us to the email address you provided us with for participation. If you do not receive an explicit confirmation of participation or acceptance by email, you cannot access the conditions listed here.

 

Period of the test phase

The test phase begins on 08/05/2024 and ends on 09/02/2024. Any deviations will be announced after the testers have been selected (e.g. due to an extended acquisition phase for the testers). Further timing will be agreed with the selected testers.

 

Minimum number of bookings

During the trial period, you must book at least 2 workspaces via shareyourspace.com.

 

Budget for the bookings

You have a budget of €300 (gross) available for the bookings. Please note that if you exceed this amount, you will have to cover it yourself.

Receiving the budget

To receive the budget for bookings, please register on the shareyourspace.com platform and tell us your user name. The budget will be refunded to you no later than 5 days after your booking.

 

Place of residence, booking locations and language

People who live in Germany and live in one of the following cities are eligible to participate: Berlin, Munich, Hamburg, Frankfurt am Main. However, you can also book spaces in other cities within Germany. The participant must be able to speak and understand German well (at least C1) - because the German version of shareyourspace.com is to be tested.

 

Interviews on user experience

As a participant in the test phase, you agree to conduct three short interviews in which we discuss your user experiences. These interviews are not anonymized, but the data is not passed on to third parties and is only used to optimize the platform and to better understand the platform users. Each interview usually lasts no longer than 15-20 minutes and is conducted in an online meeting via Microsoft Teams and digitally recorded (for later, internal evaluation of the answers).

 

Communication during the test phase

Communication during the test phase takes place via our space guides, who are happy to help you with questions and concerns.

 

 

Data protection information in accordance with the GDPR

Your personal data is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We collect, store and process your data exclusively for the purpose of conducting the test phase and optimizing our platform.

• Data categories: We process the following data categories: contact details, booking information, usage behavior, feedback, interview recordings, age, gender, employment, industry, employer (optional information), place of residence.
• Purposes of data processing: conducting the test phase, refunding the budget, conducting and evaluating the interviews, optimizing the platform.
• Legal basis: your consent in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR.
• Recipients of the data: Your data will not be passed on to third parties and will only be processed internally.
• Storage period: Your data will only be stored for as long as it is necessary to fulfill the purposes mentioned, but for a maximum of 6 months after the end of the test phase. Data in the user account that is essential for the performance and use of the platform will remain stored until you delete your user account on shareyourspace.com.

If you request that your data be deleted before it can be evaluated for the study, you must bear the costs for the workspaces yourself and return any costs already reimbursed to shareyourspace.com.

• Your rights: You have the right to information about the personal data we process, correction, deletion, restriction of processing as well as the right to data portability and objection. You can also revoke your consent at any time. Please contact our Space Guides for this.

Further information on participating in the test phase 

• There will be no compensation for expenses, apart from the remuneration for the booked workspaces.
• By participating in the test phase, you agree to these conditions and support us in further improving shareyourspace.com.
