In the first part of its new assessment report, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) warns of significantly faster global warming than previously assumed. With the current development, the earth will warm up by 1.5 degrees compared to the pre-industrial age by 2030.

The consequences of climate change are becoming more and more noticeable worldwide: fires, floods, heat waves, droughts, melting glaciers, to name just a few sad consequences. If we do not counteract this strongly and consistently, weather extremes will occur even more frequently, with massive consequences for flora, fauna and humanity.
